Promoting consulting from the client E perspective to maximize the effect of IT investment

After graduating from university, I worked as a System Engineer of office computer systems, and then as an IT consultant. Since then, I have been working as a business consultant for many years, providing site-based improvement support, centered on logistics strategy planning.

Through this experience, I have developed the motto “Eliminate bottlenecks by making inefficient work more efficient E I have been supporting our clients Ebusiness for both IT systems introduction and improvement of operations. I discovered that if only one side of the support was implemented, the expected results were not good. Thus, both types of support are needed.

However, if a higher-level IT system is implemented without fixing the inefficiency of the process, the desired effect will not be achieved. Also, to avoid wasting the investment, each task’s importance should be verified. Then, to improve the process, the tasks should be arranged in the right way and right order. After doing the BPR, selecting and then implementing the optimal IT system is a key for a streamlined business efficiency scheme. This would firmly speed up the process without doing any shortcuts.

I joined EBSS in 2018 because I strongly share the same concept with the company. Therefore, my mission is to promote business consulting from two perspectives. The first is to improve the client’s business process, maximizing their IT investment, while the second is to provide stable logistics services, my expertise, which is a part of restructuring the logistics industry.

Creating a partnership and moving forward together with the client by providing customized solutions by on-site, hands-on consulting

I always want to do on-site, hands-on consulting to deeply discuss with client’s member. This is because having plenty of experience for consultants is a great advantage, but the most important thing is to derive the best solution for the client. With this, I aim to discover the client’s critical issue while considering all the other business factors, then get involved in solving it.

Even while understanding the big picture, focusing on each company’s specific issue is necessary to develop an optimal solution. To do so, I am always visiting the client’s site to grasp the situation by communicating with many client members. By talking directly with the clients during on-site interviews, I am able to realize the issue’s root cause, as well as other hidden issues. Rather than providing the answer, I believe it is better to think and work together with the client to achieve the best solution.

Offering three types of support: BPR (business process re-engineering), IT, and management.
