Hello, I am Yasuo Kiryu, President of EBSS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happy New Year to everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look forward to your continued support this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back at 2025, it was a year when ‘AI agents’ in addition to ‘generative AI’ significantly penetrated the AI field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cloud ERP service Oracle Fusion Cloud, which we support for implementation, is also progressing with AI integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also a year when the issues pointed out in the ‘2025 Cliff’ became reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While maintenance periods have been extended for some ERP packages, challenges such as core system renewal remain piled up, and we recognize that continued response will be required going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2026 onwards, the prolonged ‘talent shortage wall’ in IT for Japanese companies is expected to continue not only in quantity but also further in quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While existing legacy systems becoming black boxes and spaghetti code remain as burdens, isn’t the current situation one where there is much to be done – core system renewal, utilization of DX including AI, security measures, GX response, etc. – but not enough hands to do it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may also have concerns about not being able to gain understanding from management and struggling to increase IT investment budgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In such circumstances, IT departments are expected to deepen their understanding with management while becoming strategic advisors to the executive team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To all IT department members, let us once again join forces and face the walls including the ‘talent shortage wall.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally, since our establishment in 2001, we have been supporting our customers with deployment and implementation based on our track record of IT system implementation for the Toshiba Group in manufacturing both domestically and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, more than 20 years later, we are taking a moment to pause and, as part of rebranding, reexamine our MVV (Mission, Vision, Values).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are also once again identifying what should return to basics (what doesn’t need to change) and what needs to adapt to changing circumstances (what must change), exploring and pursuing what it means to be a professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we reexamine our MVV, various challenges and walls have come to light, and one major keyword among them is ‘sustainable growth.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can we truly achieve sustainable growth? Even if we’re okay for the next 2-3 years, will we be okay 5 or 10 years from now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing that the source of our competitiveness is not equipment or software but ‘people,’ we are advancing discussions on building a foundation to face challenges without postponing them and overcome them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe that postponing challenges that hinder sustainable growth, including the ‘2025 Cliff’ and the ‘talent shortage wall,’ is reaching its limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would be grateful if you could reach out to us when considering these challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, in 2026 as well, we will continue to support our customers’ growth through IT system implementation support including ERP and business improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, as we aim to grow not only as a company but also as individuals, we kindly ask for your continued guidance and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
